We continue the series on the Science of Self-Purification with the subject of conscious breathing, which is the first of the eight Principles of Tasawwuf as established by Shaykh Abdul-Khaliq al-Ghujdawani (qs) of the Naqshbandi Golden Chain of Grandmasters, originating with the blessed Prophet Muhammad (saws) and continuing to this very day with Shaykh Nazim (qs) and Shaykh Mehmet (h).
In this session, you will learn about the importance of meditation, relaxation, surrender, conscious breathing, as well as a little more background on the masters of the Naqshbandi school of Islamic spirituality and the importance of lineage and living chains of transmission.
Also covered are the ego’s need for separation, and how to instantly connect with the Divine Presence of Allah Almighty through the power of your breath.
For the benefit of those who could not attend physically, and who may not have access to a local dhikr circle in their area, we are providing these recordings so as to facilitate connection and community.
